Kenneth Byron Palmiter, age 86 of Franklin, TN. passed away with his family by his side October 4, 2016. Ken retired in 1985 after 41 years with the Kroger Company. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edison A. and Florence Schooley Palmiter and sister, Betty J. Kamenetzky. Survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Shirley Ann Palmiter; daughter, Vicki Sue (Darel) Loechel; son, Richard Edison Palmiter; brothers, Edison A. Palmiter Jr. (Sandra), Charles William Palmiter (Terri); grandchildren, Shiloh, Heather, and Aaron Loechel, Sharmaine Lilleston and Jeanette Wilson and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 8, 2016 at West Franklin Baptist Church (700 Hwy. 96 West, Franklin, TN.). Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church. Services are in care of Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 615-794-2289 www.williamsonmemorial.com
