CLAYBROOK, Mrs. Kimberly Wesley, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, teacher, friend & Christian, went home to the Lord on November 1, 2010 at age 51, after a six-year battle with cancer waged with courage, dignity and grace. Survived by husband, S. Andy Claybrook, Franklin; daughter, Amy (Rees) Greenman, Nashville; son, Scott (Joy) Claybrook, Atlanta, GA; parents, Thomas W. & Aline C. Wesley, Brentwood; brothers, Dan Wesley, Nashville & Tony Wesley, Brentwood; brother in-law & sister in-law, John & Cammie Claybrook, Nashville; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Kim was a graduate of Brentwood Academy and Belmont University and a member of ClearView Baptist Church, Franklin. She served on the staffs of ClearView and Brentwood Baptist Church in many capacities, primarily involving children's ministries. Among her many talents, Kim was an excellent musician and a wonderful homeschool teacher, ably preparing her children for excellence in college and life. A warm, generous, and loving friend, she was first and foremost devoted to her family, and will be dearly missed. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8PM on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Ave. Franklin, and at ClearView Baptist Church on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 1:00PM followed by a memorial service and celebration of Kim's life at 2:00PM. Honorary pallbearers are members of the DSL S.S. Class at ClearView. The family would like to express its sincere thanks to the medical professionals who provided Kim with exceptional and compassionate care, especially Dr. Michael Santi (Centennial Medical Center), Dr. Ruth Young and staff of Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center-Cool Springs, and Alive Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Kim's memory to the pediatric cancer program at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, or to Miriam's Promise.
