Klyda Pitts

Klyda Nairon Pitts, age 93 of Franklin, TN passed away May 1, 2019. Born in Paris, TN to the late Regiald & Tena Marie Thompson Nairon. She was s a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, served on the Board for Belmont Mansion, the Board of Brentwood United Methodist Church, and as President of The Nashville Area Home Economists Association. She was involved in several different charities including Welcome Wagon and New Neighbors Club. Klyda also developed the health clinic program the for Knox County School System. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin H. Pitts, Sr. and brothers, Harold Nairon & Reginold Nairon. Survived by her sons, Marvin "Monty" Pitts, Jr. & Jim (Clayla) Pitts; daughters, Melissa Zerfing and Bonnie (Larry) Kubiak; brother, Joe Nairon; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Saturday, May 4, 2019 with visitation two hours prior at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Shebbie Shields will officiate. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. Jason Pitts, Lieutenant (jg) Erick Hyde, Josh Hall, and Senior Airman Michael Williams, will serve as pallbearers.
