Mr. Lacy Lamar Smith, age 56 of Springfield, TN passed away September 23, 2015. Born in Chattanooga, TN to the late Lacy & Virginia Smith. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Marines. He was a gifted cabinet maker and worked for CKC Kitchen & Bath in Springfield, TN. Survived by wife, Jamie E. McNeill Smith of Springfield, TN; sisters, Liz (Barry) Herrington of Chattanooga, TN and Lisa (Ron) Herrington of Spring Hill, TN; nephews, Gene Baughn, Travis Powers and Brett Powers; great-nephews, Cody Powers, Garrett Powers, Liam Spears and Wesley Baughn; great-niece, Lacey Powers. Graveside services with military honors will be held 11:00AM Friday, October 2, 2015 at Middle Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Disabled Veterans of America.
