Laura Bratten

Bratten, Laura Ruth age 59 of Nashville, TN. passed away at her home January 2, 2015. Member of the Kingfield Seventh-day Adventist Church. Laura had such a caring and giving personality. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Marion and Mae Blizzard Gorman; foster parents, Walter and Homa King; brothers, Charles and Everett Gorman; sisters, Nola Hicks, Barbara Shepherd, and Purnie Upchurch; nephews, Robert Allen King, Jr. and Scotty Bratten; and Lilly. Survived by husband, David Bratten; brothers, Garland, Richard, Dwight and Larry Gorman; sisters, Judy Gorman King and Christine King and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Michael Cauley and Don Watson. The interment will take place following the services at Spring Hill Cemetery in Madison, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
