Laura Robison

June 20, 1947 — September 13, 2015

Laura Ann Hooper Robison, 68, of Union, Kentucky, also known as Poo, Mom and Grandma, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 13, 2015 after suffering a brain aneurysm. Laura was a 1965 graduate of Whitehaven High School in Memphis, Tennessee and a 1970 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she was a charter member of Tau Omicron Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She was quick witted, practical and a master of efficiency. She married Larry in 1978, and together they raised four children and a plethora of dogs. Through her love of dogs, she became a supporter of the Bulldog Rescue Club of America. She joins her parents, Bob and Lorelle Hooper, in Heaven, but she leaves behind her husband of 38 years, Larry, three daughters, Dena Kinsey (Cliff), Beth (Ben) Baker and Pam Robison, a son Phil Robison, three granddaughters, Shelby, Elyssa and Rachel Lambert, two grandsons Logan and Kyle Baker, and a grandbaby on the way. Her only sister, Beth Garvin (Bob), two nieces, Reverend Amanda Lane (Victor), Kathryn Garvin, nephew Robert Garvin, Aunt JoAnn and Uncle Bill Hooper and cousins Kat Lake, Susie Marlin and Marilyn Satterfield, and dearest friend, Tina Wolfzorn also survive her. Visitation will be at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, Tennessee Sunday September 20 at 2 pm followed by a funeral service at 4 pm. Interment will be Monday, September 21 at 3 pm.
