L.C. Reed

L.C. "Leon" Reed, age 83 was a life-long resident of Triune, TN and passed away on August 12, 2018. L.C. and Mary attended Millview Church of Christ. He was formerly employed with the Williamson County Highway Department. L.C. was a gentleman and a farmer who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. More than anything he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Jessie Reed; son, Kevin Reed; daughter, Diane Reed; brothers, Joe, Steve and Bobby Reed. Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Reed; daughter, Denise (Tim) Sawyer; grandchildren, Abby Sawyer and Travis (Heather) Hastings and great grandchild, Jackson Hastings. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Ed Slayton officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Leipers Fork Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jamie Beasley, Cody Hartman, Mark Hartman, Tim Meek, Justin Smith and Carl Smith. Honorary Pallbearers include Paul Brown, Eddie Brown, Darrell Pierce, Larry Brown, Robert Gilley, R.C. Edmonson and Kirk Brown. Memorial contributions may be made to Willowbrook Hospice.
