Leonard Elsner

ELSNER, Mr. Leonard Adolph, age 84, Thompson's Station, TN. August 5, 2010. He attended First Baptist Church of Spring Hill and served in the U. S. Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation in St. Joseph, MI after 35 years of service. After retiring from Whirlpool, he worked in construction in Tennessee until age 78. Preceded in death by parents, John and Minnie Karger Elsner, one brother and two sisters. Survived by wife of 60 years, Luella Elsner of Thompson's Station, TN; children, Brenda Elsner of Thompson's Station, TN, Wanda (Dennis) Johnson of Franklin, TN, John (Diana) Elsner of St. Joseph, MI and Frieda (Paul) Krugler of Tyler, TX; sister, Edna Barden of Clarmont, FL; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral service will be conducted 2PM Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Bro. J. C. Christian officiating. Interment North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma, MI.
