Leta (Lea) Glewwe went to join the angels March 10. Born on January 1, 1939 to Lewis and Alta Blood in Cedar Rapids, IA, she is survived by husband Howard, sons Gregory (wife Diane) and Grant (wife Sandra), brother Robert and grandchildren Ceridwen Pietras, Gareth Glewwe, Caitlyn Porterfield, Megan Glewwe and Michael Glewwe. Her joy in life was her family, her many dear friends, her church and hobbies. She also dearly loved the many young children that she taught during 13 years as a teacher and 15 years as director of Canyon Creek Day School in Plano TX.
A Memorial Service will be Friday March 18, 2016 at Church of the Good Shepherd in Brentwood TN at 7pm, family will receive friends starting at 5:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to GraceWorks Ministries.
"May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in that peace prepared by God."
