Linda Cope

COPE, Ms. Linda Kay, age 69 of Franklin, TN, December 30, 2011. Dedicated teacher for 48 years and served recently at Moore Elementary School where she received "Teacher of the Year" award in 2000. She was a Career Ladder Level III teacher and received numerous awards over the years of her teaching career. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Survived by: son, Christopher Ashley (Emily) Cope; granddaughter, Anna Kate Cope; sisters, Vicki Lafian (Tom) McDonald & Caroline Thomasina Lafian; niece, Marleigh Jane McDonald & nephew, Wade Thomas McDonald. Funeral Mass will be conducted 4:30 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at St. Philip Catholic Church, Father Bala celebrant. Visitation will be 3-8PM Tuesday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be 10:30 AM Thursday at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be current and retired Faculty and Staff of Franklin Special School District. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
