Linda Kaye Wooten, age 67 of Shelbyville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 8, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was born in Waynesboro, TN on February 9, 1951, daughter of the late Carl & Louise Duren Staggs.
She was a retired cafeteria manager with the Williamson County School System.
She was preceded in death by her husband William "Billy" Thomas Wooten.
Survivors include her daughters, Teresa (Carl) Thoni of College Grove, TN, Barbara (Keith) Cook of Unionville, TN & Amanda Wooten Gilbert of GA; sisters, Barbara Ann Wilkerson of Nashville, TN & Deborah Smith of Waynesboro, TN; step daughters, Sherry Byrd & Theresa Yeargan; grandchildren, Kaylynn Kellogg, Ty Cook, Chase Thoni, Colby Cook, Erin Thoni, Trey Thoni & Ashley Alday; 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 12, 2018 with a visitation 1 hour prior to service.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ellis Raider, David Davis & Wendell Warf.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
