Lois Pewitt

Mrs. Lois Marie Tidwell Pewitt, age 87, of Franklin, TN, passed away August 12, 2015. A member of Hillsboro Baptist Church where she faithfully served the Lord. She was admired and loved by her family, friends and the Hillsboro Community. Preceded in death by parents, Manley and Ethel Mae Stinson Tidwell; husband, James M. Pewitt; son, Dwight Pewitt; and nine siblings.
Survived by sons, Randall (Barbara) Pewitt and Mitchell (Becky) Pewitt; daughters, Joyce (Charles) Shedd, Edie (Brian) Patterson and Jennifer (Kevin) Stevens; brother, Lee (Jean) Tidwell; sister, Joyce (J.C.) Pewitt; seventeen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and very special friend, Tom Blair.
Funeral Service will be conducted 11AM Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jack Stone officiating. Interment Taylors Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorial donations may be made to Hillsboro Baptist Church or The Leipers Fork Senior Citizens Center.
