Lucy Jane Taylor, of Nashville, died on February 25, 2015, after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Burt Fowler Taylor and Martha Ashley Taylor. She was born in Nashville on August 11, 1944. She attended St. Mary's School in Sewanee and graduated from Franklin High School in the Class of 1962. She attended the University of Tennessee. In 1966 she was presented in the Nashville Girls Cotillion. She devoted her life to exemplary retail sales, including The Village Store, McClure's and 21 years at Crystal's Fine Gifts. She lived at Lion's Head Condominiums where she served on the Social Committee and the Architectural Committee. Lucy loved all animals and especially her rescue dog, Titan. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family at Gulf Shores, Alabama. She was predeceased by her parents and her nephew, Burt Fowler Taylor, III. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Burt Fowler Taylor, Jr., of Mobile, Alabama, and her niece, Tammy Taylor Padilla (Tim), and their children Chase, Sam and Jack Padilla, of Denver, Colorado. There will be a chapel service at 1:30pm Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin.
