Luther Hughey Jr.

Mr. Luther "Luke" Guy Hughey, Jr. age 95 of Franklin, TN passed away September 26, 2016. Born in Cortez, CO to the late Luther and Mammie Long Hughey. He was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ. Veteran of the US Navy and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Also the Owner of Luke Hughey & Associates. He is preceded in death by his son, David Hughey; first wife, Helen Beasley Hughey; brother, Clayton Hughey and an infant sister. He leaves behind his wife, Peggy Jean Gunnel Hughey; grandchildren, Brock (Kari) Hughey and Allison (Phil) Barbe; great grandchild, Maggie Barbe; brother, Jack (Marjorie) Hughey and daughter in-law, Brenda Hughey. Services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Shawn Bain and Mitch Davis officiating. Visitation will be held 4-7PM on Wednesday and 1 hour prior to service. Burial in Williamson Memorial Gardens with military honors. Pallbearers will be Jack Lawrence, Brock Hughey, Phil Barbe, Bill Bain, Ryan Downey, Danny Dodd and Steve Gunnel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Adair, Phil Cavender, Charles Nash, Ron Adams, Dale Cather, Tom Harrison, Mark Joseph, Robert Schmidt, Larry Eley and David Coleman.
