Lynn Sutton

SUTTON, Mr. Lynn Francis, age 82 of Franklin, TN. Born March 29, 1930 in Memphis, TN to the late Claude and Christine Sutton. Survived by his devoted wife of 60 years Bobbye Jean Sutton; sons, Daniel (Carmen) Sutton & David Sutton; sister, Edna Brown; grandchildren, Eli, Gabriella, and Guillermo. A devoted husband and father and a history enthusiast. Lynn graduated from Memphis State in 1956 and was an Air Force Pilot and served in the Air Defense Command during the Korean Era. Lynn went on to a successful career with the Bell System and retired after 31 years from AT&T in 1987. During his retirement he worked as a teacher for the Adult Literacy Council and then served for 15 years as a Reserve Deputy with the Williamson County Sheriff's Department. Memorials may be made in Lynn's name to Music City Honor Flight, PO. Box 292362 Nashville, TN 37229 (musiccityhf.org). A graveside inurnment will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
