Marilyn Paulk

PAULK, Mrs. Marilyn Weaver, age 76 of Franklin, TN, formerly of West Frankfort, IL, December 5, 2013. She is retired Professor Emeritus of Southern Illinois University and has spent 37 years in the teaching profession. She taught and mentored over a thousand dental hygienists located all over the country and overseas. Preceded in death by parents, Gerald & Hazel Dew Weaver. Survived by daughters, Lynn (Mike) Rinehart of Woodstock, GA & Angie (Tom) Atema of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, JohnThomas & Lily Atema; sisters, LaDonne Treece of West Frankfort, IL & Joann Williams of Decatur, IL.
A visitation will be held 5-7PM Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, IL. Inurnment will follow in Masonic - Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton, IL. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to GIgi's Playhouse of Nashville - Down Syndrome Achievement Center (www.gigisplayhouse.org/nashville) or Southern Illinois University - Dept. of Dental Hygiene % Marilyn Paulk Memorial.
