Martha Jo Hassell Cathey, age 84, of Columbia, TN passed away on January 14, 2017. Long time clerk with Luther's Market in Spring Hill, TN.

Preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Lee Cathey; brothers, Wilburn Hassell and William Hassell, Jr. Survived by sons, William E. "Billy" (Teresa) Cathey; Robert E. "Bobby" (Margaret) Cathey; daughter, Deborah Stoops; sister Minnie Hassell; grandchildren, Jennifer Potts, Joshua, Jay and Justin Stoops, Rebecca Watson, Emily Maxwell, Eben and Sally Cathey and six great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be at 3:00PM, Monday, January 16, 2017 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Phillip Wright, officiating. Visitation will be 4:00PM-7:00PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Josh, Jay and Justin Stoops, Jonathan Potts, Eben Cathey, Chad Watson, Michael Maxwell and Roger Cathey. Memorials may be made to the Ash Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
