Martha May

Mrs. Martha Ann Taylor May, age 88 of Brentwood, TN, September 17, 2015. She received her Bachelor's Degree from George Peabody College and was a Metro Art teacher for 25 years, retiring in 1991. She was a founding member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. Preceded in death by her parents, James Custer & Winnie Taylor; husband, Lawrence Lee May; daughter, Carolyn Bingham; brother, James C. Taylor and sister, Jane Mott. Survived by daughter, Marion (Russ) Farrar of Brentwood, TN; grandchildren, Jennifer and Kate Farrar and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 4:00PM Sunday, September 20, 2015 with visitation from 2:30-4PM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1420 Wilson Pike ~ Brentwood, TN 37027. The Rev. Randy Dunnavant officiating. Graveside services will be held 11:00AM Monday, September 21, 2015 at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
