Mary Kathryn Bateman, died June 5, 2018 in Knoxville, TN. She was born March 5, 1998 to Suzanne King Bateman & Matthew Paul Bateman.
Mary lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with her grandmother Gran, taking care of animals, listening to Pink Floyd and Nickelback with her sister, cousins, and all of her many friends.
She was a graduate of Brentwood High School where she was a Cheerleader, a member of DECA and the Bowling team. She attended Pellissippi State Community College and the University of TN.
She had an effervescent personality, a sharp wit and was bluntly honest with an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
Preceded in death by her father, her grandparents, Frank & Juanita Bateman, grandfather, Tom King, cousin JT King, uncle, Keven and John Bateman.
Survived by her mother, sister, Jessica Marie, Grandmother, Gladys King; aunts and uncles, Frances (Tom Frye) Baird, Trisha (Damon) Fultz, Michael (Sandy), Cathy, Steve (Cindy) Maybery Bateman, Barbara (Mike) Barrett, Peggy Cooper, Debra Bateman, Mary K. King (Dennis) O' Riley, Tom (Jerre) King, Brian (Sheila) King; cousins, Sarah (Chris) Morris, Stuart Baird, Rachael, Frank, & Ben Barrett, Reilly & Katie Cooper, Christopher (Christina) & Brittany Bateman, Kelly O' Riley, Leigh (Mark) McManus & great uncle, Tom (Shannon) Bateman, Prissy & Miss Emma.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, where a Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM. A rosary will be said at 12:00 PM.
