JOHNSON, Mary Elizabeth, born in Columbus, Ohio in 1924 and passed away May 16th 2012 in Franklin, Tennessee . Preceded in death by husband Lye C. Johnson; parents, Harry E. & Iona Randall; and brother Earl Randall. Mary with husband Lye C. Johnson resided in Indianapolis, IN for many years prior to moving to Bradenton, FL for 20 years then to Franklin, TN in 2003. Survived by sons, Jeffrey L. (Rosemary) Drake of Franklin, TN, Brent Johnson of Toledo, OH, and Kevin (Susan) Johnson of Carey, NC. Mary had six grandchildren, Jeffrey R. (Nicole) Drake, Caroline (Brad) Faber, Eric (Laura) Johnson, Emery Johnson, Ellis Johnson, and Mitchell Johnson; and five great grandchildren, Hunter Drake, Kameron Isaiah Drake, Michael Faber, Zoe Faber, and Brody Faber. Mary was known for her beautiful smile, warm compassionate heart, and as a loving wife and mother to her sons. She enjoyed playing golf in her retirement years in Florida and spent many hours as a hospital volunteer. Services will be held 11:00AM Monday, May 21, 2012 at Rutherford- Corbin Funeral Home, 5115 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus, OH. In lieu of Flowers, donations may be sent to Mercy Children's Clinic, 1113 Murfreesboro Road, Franklin, Tennessee, 37065.
