Mary Marlin

Mrs. Mary Frances Marlin, age 91 of Franklin, TN passed away November 14, 2015 at her residence. She was born and raised in Maury County, TN. She and her husband raised their family in the Boston Community and she retired from the Williamson County Board of Education. Preceded in death by husband, Johnnie Allen Marlin; parents, Leslie B. and Bertha Campbell Robinson; brothers, James L. Robinson and Charles Robinson; sister, Loraine Robinson Snyder. Survived by: daughters, Mary Ellen Marlin (Larry) Jones of Burwood Community and Judy Lee Marlin (James) Petty of Salem, OR; son, Johnnie Sparkman (Retha) Marlin of Springfield, TN; grandchildren, Kenneth A. (Charlene) Jones, Marc C. Jones, Beth (Ben) Worley, Jason (Jenna) Marlin, Heather Marlin, Jonathan Petty, Jeremy (Angela) Petty and Jacob (Sarah) Petty; great grandchildren, Emily Jones, Colby Jones, Charlie Jones, Mikayla Worley, Joshua Worley, Christopher Marlin, Matthew Marlin, Hannah Marlin, Jacob Marlin, Nicholas Marlin, Audrey Petty, Jackson Petty, Marcus Petty, Jessi Petty and Alexis Petty. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Ed Slayton and Steve Blackman officiating and Darrell Trimble leading congregational singing. Interment Sparkman Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ken Jones, Marc Jones, Ben Worley, Jason Marlin, Cammie Neal, Chris Neal, Colby Jones and Jacob Richards. Honorary pallbearers will be Members of Heritage Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the Sparkman Cemetery or Heritage Church of Christ Building Fund.
