Mary Jane Smith, age 78 of Franklin, TN passed away October 20, 2016. Born in Alpena, MI to the late Arnold Ludwig & Amanda Jane Greene Gengerke. She was preceded in death by brothers in-law, Cornel Jurca & Bill Arthur; sister in-law, Barbara Gengerke. Survived by husband of 56 years, Donald Roy Smith; son, Wade Randall (Gale) Smith; daughter, Wendy Jeanne (Ray) Graves; brother, Arnold G. Gengerke; sisters, Pam Jurca, Prudence Arthur & Patricia Quagon; grandchildren, Christopher (Shayla) Smith, Joshua (Amanda) Smith, Carmen Graves & Callie Graves. Funeral service will be held 3:00PM Sunday, October 23, 2016 with visitation two hours prior to the service at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 908 Murfreesboro Rd. Franklin, TN. The Rev. Dr. Michael A. Lippard officiating. Graveside service will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
