Mary Sam Hawk Vest, age 91, of Franklin, TN, passed away January 2, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Annie Smith Hawk; husband, Floyd Vest; and great grandson, Adam Vaughn. Survived by son, Marion Estes; daughters, Carlene Canterbury, Roberta (Anthony, Sr.) Fox, Judy Adams and Tabitha Lynn Vest; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2:00PM Thursday at Nashville National Cemetery, 1420 Gallatin Pk. S, Madison, TN with Pastor Stephen Schwanke officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorial donations may be made to the Mary Vest Memorial Fund.
