Matthew LaRocca

Matthew Grayson Runner LaRocca, age 12 of Spring Hill, TN, fought a 16 month long battle with a brain tumor and went home to be with his Lord and Savior, April 6, 2011. Matt was an avid baker, author of his own cookbook, serious Lego collector and builder. Matt was an enthusiastic Titans fan, born into a family of Steelers fans. Matt was full of wit and loved by all. Preceded in death by grandfather, Emil LaRocca. Survived by: parents, Dean & Kimberly LaRocca; brothers, Jordan & Ryan LaRocca; sister, Alyssa LaRocca; grandparents, Tim & Deena Runner and Glenda LaRocca; great grandparents, Sam & Jan Runner; uncle & aunt, Jamie & Jennifer LaRocca; cousins, Gracie, Izzy B. & Bennett LaRocca and other loving family members. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 5:00 PM Monday, April 11, 2011 at The People's Church, 828 Murfreesboro Road, Franklin, TN 37064, Darren Tyler officiating. In honor of Matt, everyone is requested to come in colorful casual attire to match Matt's personality. Visitation will be 4-7PM Sunday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church.
