Melba White

Mrs. Melba Christine White, age 90 originally from the Flat Creek Community passed away February 19, 2015. Born in Williamson Co., TN. She and her late husband worked side by side in several ventures, such as farming, the grocery and automotive business. One of the charter members of Allisona Church of Christ. She later worshiped with the Thompsons Station Church of Christ. After moving to Florida, she was with Gulf Breeze Church of Christ. Preceded in death by husband, Willie Buford "Duck" White. Survived by: sons, James "Monk" (Ann) White & Jack (Margaret Ann) White; grandchildren, Laurie (Charlie) Meek, Glenda (Tim) Sandrell, Patricia (Troy) Williams & Melissa White; great grandchildren, Chuck & Abby Meek, Cassie & Brandy Merrifield, Brandon (Monica) Sandrell, T.J. Sandrell, Allison (Philip) Terhune, Dustin Sandrell, Ryan (Melissa) Burton & Justin Williams and seven great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, John Miller officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Charlie & Chuck Meek, Tim, Brandon, T.J. & Dustin Sandrell, Philip Terhune & Troy Williams. Memorials may be made to Allisona Church of Christ.
