Meredith Waller

WALLER, Meredith Louise Wills, 52, wife, mother, sister and friend died on December 20, 2012 in Brentwood TN after a short illness. Her heart was pure. She inspired and comforted others by communicating strength through vulnerability, love through sensitivity, and hope through her steadfast faith. To know Meredith's heart was to experience the presence of something rare and extraordinary. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Louise Deery Parker Wills and Bill Rufus Wills. She is survived by her husband Ken Murray Waller and her two children, Michael Waller and Carissa Waller; siblings Lee Anne Wills (James Piekarski), Paul Wills (Lynne), and Allison Wills Brooks (Phil); her mother in-law Jennie Waller; admiring aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Despite numerous recent health setbacks, Meredith approached the holidays with enthusiasm selflessly determined to take care of everyone on her list. She was dedicated to Christ Community Church where she enjoyed services, fellowship, Christian education, and mutual support. Meredith took her responsibilities seriously devoting her energy to her children's sports pursuits and academic goals. She applied a programmer's precision and attention to detail in every pursuit she attempted impressing and challenging others with her persistence. A graduate of Harpeth Hall School, and Western Kentucky University where she received a BS in Math and Computer Science, she worked as a programmer for First American Corporation, United Methodist Publishing, and Ingram Book. Most recently she taught and tutored math part-time while maintaining an active volunteer schedule at church and at Brentwood High School. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 23rd, 2 -4 p.m. at Christ Community Church, 1215 Hillsboro Rd. Franklin, TN 37064, with a Memorial service following at 4 p.m. Donations may be made to Youth Mission Christ Community Church.
