Michael Thomas

Mr. Michael Barnard Thomas, age 37 of Franklin, TN passed away September 17, 2014. He was a lifelong resident of Williamson County. He attended school at Franklin Elementary, Johnson Middle and Battle Ground Academy. He was a member of The People's Church. At an early age he was influenced by his Papa, who guided him and instilled in him a love for the great outdoors. His love and respect for nature was unmeasurable. Together him and his Papa would explore the outdoors together, garden together and tend to grape vineyards together. Later Michael took his love for the outdoors and decided that was how he would make his living. He owned and operated Green Tree Landscaping and was also employed with Forest Landscaping both in Spring Hill, TN. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. Everett "Papa" Barnard and Pauline Perry Barnard. He is survived by his mother, Susan Thomas of Franklin, TN. A memorial service will be held 5:00PM Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Tap Root Farm, www.taprootfarm.com, 4104 Clovercroft Rd. Franklin, TN 37064. Pastor Rick White will officiate.
