Minnie Chrisman

Mrs. Minnie Katherine Chrisman, age 89 of Arrington, TN passed away on Good Friday, April 3, 2015. Born near Eagleville, TN to William Robert Douglas & Bertha May Vincent in 1925. She was the oldest of seven children; Benny, Evelyn, Leslie, Dorothy, James & Willeen. After marrying her late husband Paul Chrisman of Arrington, she attended business college in Murfreesboro, TN and worked as a stenographer and secretary through the 40's, but by early 50's she moved to the farm with her husband where she spent most the rest of her life as a homemaker, later retiring from Mid Cumberland Transit. Loving wife, mother and grandmother. Member of Jones Chapel Church of Christ. Preceded in death by husband, Paul Chrisman, Sr.; grandson, Casey Chrisman. Survived by son, Woody Chrisman; sister, Dorothy Douglas Smith; grandchildren, Paul David, Joseph, Rebecca, Jacob, Katherine Ellen, Oliver, Henry, Edward and Lucas; great-grandchildren, Chloe & Gabrielle Sage "Louie"; great-great grandson, Wyatt Woodrow. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Doy Hollman officiating. Burial will follow in Cothran Cemetery in Rover, TN. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Jones Chapel Church of Christ.
