MURPHY, Mr. Arnold Eugene "Gene," age 65 of Lebanon, TN. March 26, 2010. Formerly of Corinth, MS. Retired as an Area Manager with Columbia Gulf Transmission. Served in the US Air Force. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Lori Faye Murphy; parents, Freida Mae & Mason E Murphy; sister, Betty Seiber; brothers, Horace and Howard Murphy. Survived by wife, Faye Carlisle Murphy; daughters, Gina M. (Tracy) Boyd, Kara M. (Kyle) Thigpen; grandchildren, Ellarie and Alden Boyd, Maddox and Amelia Thigpen; brothers Willard (Donna) Murphy, J.W. Murphy, Les (Ann) Murphy, Walt (Judy) Murphy; sisters, Ruby Sharpe, Mabel Goodwin; brother in law, Wayne (Sharon) Carlisle; sister in law, Peggy C. Barton; Several nieces and nephews. Service 11:00am Monday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. John Cheetham officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Theta Community. Family and friends to serve as pallbearers.
