Mr. Carl Polk

POLK, Mr. Carl Allen, age 71 of Athens, Alabama. Born September 19, 1940 and passed away October 16, 2011. Carl lived in Franklin and Columbia. He was a farmer and worked for the City of Franklin then he moved to Athens, AL and lived with the Taylor family. Carl was of the Christian faith. Preceded in death by parents, Phillip Z. "Doc" & Marie A. Thompson Polk; Brother, Arch Polk; sisters, Becki Polk, Edna Francis England. Survived by brothers, R.H. (Juanita) Polk of Powell, TN & George (Jane) Polk of Athens, AL; Sister Mary Elizabeth Brooks of Columbia, TN; Carl never married, he was close with nieces and nephews, Junior and Ann England Shaw, Mary Lou, Marie, Wayne Brooks, Tom and Allen Polk. Graveside Service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in Williamson Memorial Gardens, Bro. Rick Points officiating. Family and Friends to serve as pallbearers.
