BANKS, Mr. Cato J., Jr. - October 19, 1925 - February 1, 2013. He was born to the late Cato J. Banks Sr. and Thomie Lee Banks in Forkland, Alabama on October 19, 1925. Cato is survived by his wife of 61 years Almarine R. Banks; daughter, Faye (Isaac) Smith; sons, Jerry (Myoshi) Banks and Benjamin Banks; and grandchildren, Jamin (Brandy) Smith, Jovan and Jeremy Banks, Jessica Smith, Franchesca (Jason) Davis, Janine Smith and Jarrett Banks; sisters, Lula (Robert) Cater of Birmingham, Al, Adora(late George) Morris of Mobile, AL, Bettye (Donald) Lee of Williamsville, NY, Daisy(late Homer) Britton-Chicago, IL, Minnie Belton-Jersey City, NJ, Nettye (Winford) Andrews-Forkland, AL; sister in-law, Martha Banks; brother in-law, Charles Floyd and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by sister, Ruby Floyd; brothers, Benjamin, Nathan, John, Albert Lee, Scy & Abraham Banks. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1972. He was a member of Jehovah's Witness congregations in Williamsville and Buffalo, New York and Brentwood, Tennessee, where he served as an elder for many years. Services will be 2:00PM Friday, February 8, 2013 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1550 Bell Road, Nashville, TN.
