NEWSOM, Mr. Channing Lee, age 90 of Franklin, TN, December 23, 2010. Born in Pikeville, KY to the late Brack & Florence Damron Newsom. Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII; member of Southern Hills Church of Christ; an accomplished pilot; retired chief engineer at Wolf Creek Collieries in Inez, KY. Survived by sons, James (Joan) Brack Newsom & Paul (Teresa) Newsom; daughters, Peggy (Richard) Bolz & Carmen (Jim) Lubaway; brothers, Bob, Don, Brack & Fayen Newsom; sisters, Mary & Ann Mullins; ten grandchildren. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00AM Tuesday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Major Richard Bolz, US Air Force Ret. & Danny Cottrell officiating.
