HULL, Charles Clark age 82, Gallatin, TN passed away June 15th 2014 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty Cox Hull and sons Donnie, Jamie, Mike, Kevin (Leslie), Kent (Mary) and daughters Roxanne Layton (Bryan), Pam Mettler (Ron) and Debbie Hull. Brothers, Dr. Don Hull of Los Altos California, Dr. Dale Hull and sisters Norma Carver and Mary Beth Cragun all of Utah. Beloved grandfather of 33 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mr. Hull served 6 years in the US Army in charge of border operations at the Germany/ Czechoslovakia border during the Cold War. Upon return to Tennessee, he graduated from the University of Tennessee with a History degree. He was employed by the United States Postal service for twelve years. His lifelong love of nature led him to begin his own commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance business called Scenery Greenery. This brought him such joy that he continued to labor in this business until a short time before his death. Mr. Hull was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for all of his adult life serving in many leadership positions. He especially enjoyed working with the youth of the Church. He was a loving, kind and gentle man with a close family and countless friends. He lived to serve others and he will be missed so much by all who knew him and whose lives he touched. Visitation with the family will be Friday June 20th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday June 21st from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Service to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints chapel located at 1100 Gray Fox Ln, Franklin, TN.
