Mr. Charles Linder

LINDER, Mr. Charles Fred, age 93 of Franklin, TN, formerly of Cincinnati, OH and Nashville, TN, July 23, 2012. Beloved husband of Isabel Rogers Linder for 70 years. Veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1940-1945and in Europe during WWII with the 107th Calvary Unit of the 7th Army. He retired from Southern Shoe Machinery and Southern Shoe Die Co. as Vice President of Sales with 37 years of service. A devoted parishioner of St. Philip Catholic Church. Survived by wife, Isabel Rogers Linder; sons, Tom (Natalie) Linder of Washington, WV and Mike Linder of Portland, OR; daughters, Kathy Sampson of Florissant, MO and Patty (Dave) Story of Spring Hill, TN; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00AM Thursday at St. Philip Catholic Church, Father Bala celebrant. Interment with U.S. Military honors at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers: Mike, Paul and K.C. Linder, Joe and Jason Burns, Phil, Steve and Dennis Sampson.
