Mr. Charles Rogers

Mr. Charles E. Rogers, age 78, of Spring Hill, TN died Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at his residence. Born in Barren County he was the son of the late Raymond and Wilma Lloyd Rogers. He was a leader in the construction community and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Arlene Blakeway Rogers of Spring Hill, TN; 2 daughters, Susan Gates of Mebane, NC and Gena Rogers of Spring Hill, TN; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Roberts and Kristi Hiott of North Carolina; 4 great grandchildren; 1 granddog Maki; 2 sisters, Margie Lyons (Bill), and Martha Phipps (Butch) both of Glasgow; 5 nephews and nieces and a brother-in-law, Fred Skipworth of TN. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Skipworth and a nephew Freddie Dale Skipworth, Jr.
A memorial service will he held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Trinity Nazarene Church, Glasgow KY. Visitation will be 12:00 - 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kosair Children's Hospital, Department 86140, P O Box 950183, Louisville, KY 40295-0183 or Happy Tails Humane, 230 Franklin Road, Franklin, TN 37064. Services in care of SPRING HILL MEMORIAL 931-486-0059.
