Mr. Charles Smithson

Mr. Charles Randall "Goat" Smithson, age 55 of the Bethesda Community, August 10, 2010. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by father, Charles Woodard Smithson. Survived by: mother, Josephine Smithson of Bethesda Community; sons, Randall Cayle (Wendy) Smithson of Spring Hill, TN, Jesse Frank Smithson of Franklin, TN, Henry Allen (Rachel) Smithson of Chapel Hill, TN, John & Curtis Beard of Cross Keys Community; brothers, Gerry Dean (Katherine Stutts) Smithson of Bethesda Community & Billy Ray (Sharon) Smithson of Sparta, TN; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, August 13, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jayne Hornburger officiating. Interment Smithson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cayle Smithson, Roger Dale, Rudder & Travis Harper, Dave Osborne, Terry Poteete, Troy Frost & Allen Fox. Memorials may be made to Randall "Goat" Smithson Memorial Fund. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289.
