FOX, Mr. Charlie "C.W.", Jr., age 88 of Arrington, TN went to be with the Lord on October 8, 2010. Veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII September 15, 1942 to February 6, 1946 where he served with the 94th Signal Company in the American & European Campaign. He received four Bronze Service Stars & Meritorius Unit Award. Retired Williamson County Clerk after 28 years of service. Active in State of Tennessee County Clerk Association where he served in several capacities including President. Former Elder of the Millview Church of Christ. Past board member of the Williamson County Franklin Chamber of Commerce and the Williamson County Farmers Co-Op. Member of the Franklin Noon Rotary Club where he was a Paul Harris Fellow. Former member of the Franklin Civitan Club. He loved & served his community faithfully and was a farmer most all of his life. Preceded in death by parents, Charlie Sr. & Elizabeth Hendricks Fox, daughter, Patricia Lou Fox; daughter in law, Cindy Hoover Fox. Survived by: wife of 64 years, Mary Lou Fox; son, Charlie (Polli) Fox, III; daughter, Deborah Fox Hicklen; brothers, Hendricks Fox & Tom Fox; sisters, Sara Fox & Lois Fox Davis; grandchildren, Bryan (Angie) Fox, Adam (Julie Beth) Fox, Leslie Fox (Tom) Ivery, Rachel Hicklen (Sean) Hartig, Savannah Hicklen & Kip (Debra) Yount; great grandchildren, Caroline, Mary Elizabeth, Colby, Sara & Anna Kate Fox, Greyson & Nathan Ivery & Morgan Yount. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, October 11, 2010, Ed Slayton officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers, Bryan & Adam Fox, Tom Ivery, Kip Yount, Sean Hartig, Luke Blackwelder, Dr. Josh McCollum, Jason Carter, & Chris Haynes. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders & Deacons of Millview Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to Millview Church of Christ or Willowbrook Hospice.
