GORDON, Mr. Charlie, age 82 of Franklin, TN, August 17, 2011. Attended Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church; graduate of Georgia State University; member of the Hopeville Baptist Church; Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Preceded in death by parents, Alexander Stott & Ada Nelson Gordon; brother, James Gordon; sisters, Betty Gordon Adams & Mary Gordon Sliwinski. Survived by wife of 54 years, Beatrice Gleaves Gordon; sons, Charles Jeffery Gordon & Douglas Reed Gordon all of Franklin, TN; brothers, Alexander Stott Gordon, Jr. of Beaufort, SC & John Lee (Marjorie) Gordon of Hampton, GA; niece, Nancy Elizabeth Gordan and nephews, David Stott Gordon & James Sliwinski. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00AM Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, the Rev. Sally Hughes officiating. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or Historic Franklin Presbyterian Church.
