KNIGHT, Mr. Claude Rudolph "Rudy", age 87 of Franklin, TN, April 23, 2012 in Maryville, TN. Veteran of the US Navy. Manager of the former Draper and Darwin Store in downtown Franklin for many years. Later became a customer service greeter at Walmart for approximately 20 years where he always met you with a smile. Member of Franklin First United Methodist Church. Survived by: wife of 65 years, Dorothy "Jean" Gant Knight, Franklin, TN; son, Don (Suzanne) Knight, Memphis, TN; daughter, Beverley Knight (Rick) Kuhlman, Knoxville, TN; brother, William (Sybil) Knight, Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Amy (Steve) Stone, Hart (Stephanie) Knight & Rick (Jamie) Kuhlman and great grandchildren, Caroline Stone & Mary Margaret Knight. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Monday, April 30, 2012 at Franklin First United Methodist Church, Rev. Vona Wilson officiating. Visitation will be 10:30 AM until 12:00 Noon at the church. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Rick Kuhlman III, Hart Knight, Steve Stone, Rick Kuhlman, Jr., Jim Thomas & Eddie Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe & Monie Denton, Ben & Rosemary Smithson and the Horace Edgmon Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to Franklin First United Methodist Church Building Fund.
