VAN GORDEN, Mr. Dale George, age 68 of Franklin, TN, June 28, 2011. Teacher, coach, founder and headmaster of Eagles Nest Academy. Preceded in death by father, George Edward Van Gorden. Survived by: wife, Linda Van Gorden; son, Eric Dale (Cathy) Van Gorden; daughters, Heather Zahn (Brian) Watts & Gretchen D (Dwane) Thomas; mother, Marian Van Gorden; brother, Jeffrey Van Gorden; sisters, Gail Abramo & LuAnn Van Hart; grandchildren, Kerisa, Sedona, Eric Dale II & Elise Van Gorden, Micah, Joelle & IsabelKate Watts, Jackson, Geneva, Lydia, Heidi & Autumn Thomas and other loving family members. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, July 1, 2011 at Christ Community Church, 1215 Hillsboro Rd., Franklin, TN, Nate Shurden & George Grant officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers.
