Mr. Douglas Henry Robertson, age 81, of Spring Hill, TN, September 29, 2011. Loving husband, father & grandfather. Worked in the maintenance department of David Lipscomb College until his retirement, and was a member of Spring Hill Church of Christ. Preceded in death on September 26, 2011 by his wife of 63 years, Pauline Beasley Robertson; parents, Rufus A. & Virginia Walker Robertson; brother, John Robertson & sister Gloria Jean Shepherd. Survived by sons, Wayne (JoAnn) Robertson of Spring Hill, TN, Tommy (Novia) Robertson of Columbia, TN & Ricky Robertson of Hermitage, TN; daughter, Sandra (Jeff) Crick of Spring Hill, TN; grandchildren, Rachel & Peyton Robertson & Benjamin & Kimberly Neely; step grandchildren, Jarrod, Phillip & Scott Norton; sister, Sarah Elizabeth Waddey of Columbia, TN; brother Jack (Margaret) Robertson of Spring Hill, TN; 7 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson; several nieces & nephews. Special Thanks to Dr. Hrishi Kanth & the staff of Hospice Compassus. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, with Glen Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Benji Neely, Peyton Robertson, Donnie Beasley, Chad Bailey, Clyde Farmer, Steve Bowman, Randall Chestnut, Jay Farmer & Danny Shepherd. Honorary pallbearers will be friends & members of Spring Hill Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, 410 Allied Drive, Nashville, TN 37211.
