REED, Mr. Edward Lewis, age 66 of Franklin, TN, January 13, 2012. Veteran of the U.S. Navy; retired IBEW Electrician; member of Bethesda Masonic Lodge; life member of the VFW. Preceded in death by parents, Polkie Alexander & Mary Katherine Smith Reed; son, James Michael Reed; brother, Kirby Reed. Survived by wife of 46 years, Jean Reed of Franklin; son, Danny (Annette) Reed of Spring Hill; daughters, Sheila (Stephen) Witt & Stephanie (Skip) Caldwell all of Franklin; brother, Sam (Edna) Reed; sister, Annie (Charles) Tomlin; grandchildren, Austin, Emily & Caleb Reed, Will, Kate, Jake & Anna Witt, Lauren & Jack Caldwell; sister in-law, Dot Reed; several loving nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00PM Monday, January 16, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers: Jackie, Carl, Tracy, David & Robert Reed, Eddie Hargrove, Keith & Scott Tomlin. Honorary pallbearers: Bethesda Masonic Brothers and grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
