VANCE, Mr. Edward Wallingford, age 74 of Franklin, TN, June 2, 2011. Member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church; Retired from Exxon Chemical after 36 years; Member of the Boy Scouts during his childhood and continued his involvement as a volunteer, he became Chairman of Camping & Activities in Baton Rouge, LA; Member of Stephen Ministries. Preceded in death by parents, Ed & Martha Pfieffer & son, Eric W. Vance. Survived by wife of 56 years, Geneva L. Vance of Franklin, TN; daughter, Rene` L. Vance of Smyrna, GA; grandson, Ethan W. Vance & daughter in-law, Kay Vance both of Antioch, TN. Memorial Services will be conducted 11:00AM Monday, June 6, 2011 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Ryan Bennett & Tim Moss officiating. Inurnment, Williamson Memorial Gardens ~ Dogwood Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ethan W. Vance Scholarship Fund % Wallonia Baptist Church in Cadiz, KY, Bethlehem United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
