Mr. Edwin Bodor

Bodor, Edwin Alexander "Bill" age 91, Franklin, TN, October 23, 2013. Born on June 15, 1922 in Glendale, CA., Bill was the son of Alfred and Ada Maude (Fife) Bodor. He is survived by son Bruce Bodor of Franklin, TN, and daughters Melody Brock of Ft Mill, SC, and Rebecca Bodor of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren, Nick, Luke and Julianna Bodor, Samuel, John, Stephen and Joseph Brock. His wife of 56 years, Lydia Panattoni Bodor, passed away on August 20, 2013. Graduated from Grossmont High School in San Diego, CA in 1941. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Corp, working in teletype and cryptography. After the war, he started his own business teaching tennis and selling tennis equipment and supplies first in San Diego and then in the Los Angeles area. He and his wife, Lydia, were married in 1957, and raised their family in Arcadia, CA where they lived until moving to Tennessee in 2004. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather with a great sense of humor. Funeral services will conducted 11:00AM Friday, October 25, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, John Rush presiding. Interment will follow at 1:00PM at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery. Family to serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Prime Timers Benevolent Fund West Franklin Baptist, 700 New Hwy. 96, Franklin, TN 37064. Visitation will be held 5-7PM Thursday one hour prior to the service at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 615-794-2289. www.williamsonmemorial.com
