Mr. Elmer Frank "Sonny" Poteet, age 67 of Meridian, MS died October 6, 2014 at his home. Loving husband, father & grandfather who had many friends. Employee of Roadway Trucking for 35 years. Preceded in death by father, Chester Eugene Poteet; survived by wife of 36 years, Deborah Poteet; daughter, Christa White & Tammy Poteet; grandsons, Charles Tyler White & William Frank White; granddaughters, Ashley Fults & Amanda Poteet; great-grandchildren, Rylee Bateman & Brayden Bateman; mother, Mamie Odell Simpson and sister, Martha Gordon. Memorial services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
