HARRON, Mr. Fred, age 86 of Franklin, TN, May 1, 2012. Member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Past National President of the National Exchange Clubs of America. Officer and member of various Exchange Clubs of Tennessee. During his tenure as President, one of his major accomplishments was reforming the organization, allowing women full membership. Preceded in death by parents, Brownlow Lyda & Emma Roberts Harron; wife of 58 years, Lillian Marie Harron. Survived by son, Scott (Lynne Graybeal) Harron; daughters, Brenda (Jon) Kessell of Franklin, TN & Pat (Jim) Blanton of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Laura (Dan) Hollandsworth, Bethany (John) Lensgraf & Trevor Harron; several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted 2:00PM Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Rev. Ryan Bennett & Rev. David Bradley officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be current and former staff and residents of NHC Place of Cool Springs. Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 2419 Bethlehem Loop, Franklin, Tennessee 37069 or the National Exchange Club Foundation for the Prevention of Child Abuse, 3050 Central Ave. Toledo, OH 43606-1700, checks payable to NEC Foundation.
