Mr. Garry Goodwin, Sr.

GOODWIN, Mr. Garry Glenn, Sr. age 47 of Franklin, TN passed away April 7, 2011. He was a member of Walker Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed flying remote control gas powered airplanes. He was a loving husband, father and devoted grandfather. Preceded in death by father, Douglas Goodwin, Sr. Survived by wife of 25 years, Carolyn Reed Goodwin of Franklin, TN; son, Garry Glenn Goodwin, Jr. of Franklin, TN; daughter, Brittany Renee` Goodwin of Franklin, TN; mother, Mildred Goodwin Goins of Franklin, TN; brothers, Douglas (Barbara) Goodwin, Jr. of Nolensville, TN and Charles Andrew (Patricia) Goodwin of McMinnville, TN; sisters, Marjorie (Douglas) Waddey of Franklin, TN and Connie Diane (Terry) Best of Smyrna, TN; Father & Mother In-law, Bennie Jr. and Peggy Reed of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Cheyenne Nicole and Samantha Leigh Goodwin, and other loving family members. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30PM Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Mitchell Karnes, Mike Waddey and Lowell Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Douglas Waddey, Terry Best, Paul Fields, Jay Giles, Allen Tate, Jasper Parsons, Nathan Griffith and Charles Goodwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Members of Walker Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the Garry Goodwin Memorial Fund.
