Mr. George McAllister, Jr.

McALLISTER, Jr., Mr. George Pete, age 80 of Franklin, TN, passed away peacefully March 5, 2011. Former President of Franklin AARP, also an Inventor and owner of many patents. Preceded in death by parents George P. SR. and Nellie Bryant McAllister. Survived by wife of 58 years, Joyce McAllister of Franklin, TN; son, George McAllister of the Leipers Fork community; brother, Thomas Allen (Judy) McAllister of Greenville, TX; sisters, Mary Ina Wyatt of Collinston, LA., Bess Baker of West Monroe, LA. and Nell (Ronnie) Wyatt of Monroe, LA; grandchild, Shelby McAllister. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Entombment, Williamson Memorial Gardens.
