Mr. George Mueller

MUELLER, Mr. George Paul, age 94, passed away December 23, 2010 at NHC Place Cool Springs, Franklin, TN. A lifelong native of St. Louis, MO. Son of the late Dr. Vincent J. and Else M. Kolhagen Mueller. Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Marion Jean Instone Mueller. Survived by daughter, Martha C. Mueller (Rod) Daniel of Franklin, TN; son, James F. (Cathy) Mueller of St. Louis, MO; grandsons, John (Logan) Daniel, Lucas (April) Daniel, Matthew Mueller, Joseph Mueller; great-grandson, Ethan Paul Daniel; nieces and nephews. A 1938 graduate of Washington University Law School, Mr. Mueller was Vice President and General Council of the Terminal Railroad Association in St. Louis from 1946-1982. Mr. Mueller was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served active duty in Central Europe during WWII as a POW Interrogation Officer in Military Intelligence, attached to the 12th Armored Division. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserves with the rank of Colonel. Fifteen years service in retirement with Meals on Wheels, St. Louis.
