BABCOCK, Mr. Gerald Louis, age 83 of Franklin, TN, September 25, 2010. Retired from the US Marine Corp as Master Gunnery Sgt. & served in WWII in Korea & Vietnam. Preceded in death by parents, William Warren & Majorie Edna Hill Babcock; brother, William Warren Babcock, Jr.; sisters, Betty Jane Fly & Barba M. Story; grandson, Michael Derrick Melton. Survived by: wife, Ann Lee Stewart Babcock; sons, Gary S. (Lynn) Babcock, Zach (Vicki) Babcock & Craig W. Babcock; daughter, Cheryl R. Babcock (Kenneth) Wilson; grandchildren, Charles Jeremy Melton, Adam Bradley Melton, Zac A. Babcock, Lauren Kathleen Babcock, Sarah Emily Babcock, Savannah Nicole Babcock; four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, September 27, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Interment with full military honors at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
